summer time

Summer is beautiful. I love summer. Therefore iced tea is good.

Seriously, there's something just right about having a glass of sweet tea (the southern kind) on a hot day - especially when its homemade. So to all you people out there who are sitting inside go brew up some tea, dump 3-4 cups of sugar in it, stick it in the fridge for a while, and then drink it outside on your lawn. Not an experience to be missed.

Amen, brother! As someone who grew up on Southern sweet tea, I am in wholehearted agreement with you. One of my roommates here at Marge's is from the South and also wholeheartedly agrees with you (my grandparents are all from the South, so even though I was raised in MI, I still know what southern sweet tea is :-) )

Or for true Southern sweet tea, dump the bags and sugar in the water, sit the pitcher out on the porch for a few hours (make sure to cover it) then bring it in, mix it up and viola! During the summer in my neighborhood you can usually find at least 2 or 3 pitchers basking in the sun.
